Hello –
No that does not make any difference. In fact i used that support document to get the notifications running again after it recently broke – but now instead of no notifications, I have duplicates.
Hi @phr72,
How are you creating posts on the front-end?
Is it via custom code in your theme or a plugin? If so, which one?
Are you posts being published immediately or going to a different status, such as Pending, first?

Hey @voltronik –
Visitors are filling out a form created via ACF, which is immediately published to a corresponding custom post type via acf_form. Using ACF Pro, BNFW Custom Fields Add-On, and BNFW Send To Any Email plugins.
thanks, Paul

Hi @voltronik –
The notifications are being triggered and routed correctly, but I see no mention of how to fix double notifications within that documentation.
thanks, Paul
Hi @phr72,
Are the double notifications occurring after implementing the code from the link in my last reply?
Does the duplicate notification occur when publishing from the front-end or the back-end or both?

Hi @voltronik – I did not implement that code because the notifications are being triggered. In fact, when publishing from the back end, they are triggered in triplicate, and from the front end, in duplicate.
Hi @phr72,
Using the above code should fix your duplicate notifications.
You should also remove the code from this support document at the same time (if added) which should help reduce the number of duplicated notifications: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/documentation/compatibility/support-plugins-front-end-forms/
