Hi there,
Thank you for the detailed report.
I have been attempting to replicate the issue in our testing environment, but so far, the HTML is generating correctly on our end. To help me narrow this down, could you clarify a few things?
- Theme Isolation: If you momentarily switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four), does the double-quote issue persist in the source code, or does it only occur while Divi is active? To do this safely you can use the steps provided here https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1112-theme-doesnt-work-as-expected-troubleshooting-guide
- Divi Version: Which version of the Divi theme/builder are you currently running?
- Optimization Plugins: Are you using any caching or HTML minification plugins (e.g., WP Rocket, Autoptimize)? Sometimes these scripts can rewrite attributes during the minification process.
Knowing if this happens on a default theme will tell us immediately if there is a specific conflict with Divi’s rendering engine.
Looking forward to your update!
Kind regards!
Hi Rodicaelena,
Sorry for the late back but I was in hollidays.
I have tried to disable all plugins but the bug stay (after clear caches).
I have tried to change the theme to Twenty twenty-four or Five and the icons disappears completely.
I have 3 websites with the same bug, and they are not the same config.
Have you try with SVG icons (load from medias) ? Because with PNG or library icon like FontAwesome, it’s work good.
Thank for your help!
Hi,
No worries for that 🙂
Can you please try with a different theme, not Twenty twenty-four or Five as those are FSE themes? Please try with the Neve theme for example and let me know if that helps.
Also, please share some screenshots of the exact configuration you have for the menu icons.
Thank you!
Same problem with Neve theme.
Hi!
Great. Thanks for sharing that! Can you please also share some screenshots so I can see exactly how you configured your icons in the menu so I can try to replicate the same behaviour?
Thank you!
