Double text in widgets

I’m using the Flat Responsive theme by Styled Themes and there are a number of text widgets. I’m somewhat new to WordPress but have worked with widgets before and the defaults usually seem to work. But in this case when I type into the text box and save, it shows up on my site in double and I can’t see anything to adjust to fix it easily. Any thoughts as to what might be happening?
