Could you please try to provide some screenshots and more details on the issue you’re encountering with the plugin? Can you confirm this is occurring with WP 4.9.8 and Yoast SEO for WordPress 8.2?
Thanks for you quick reply. A screenshot of my Ghostery detecting the cookie can be found here
When I disabel the Yoast plugin I no longer see the cookie.
This does indeed occur on WordPress 4.9.8 with Yoast SEO 8.2. However, the cookie also stops occurring when I disable my “WP Google Maps” or my “Google Analytics Dashboard” plugin.
@smit_ralph Does the issue still occur when the WP Google Maps or Google Analytics plugins are active, and the Yoast plugin is not?
Yes, if I deactivate Yoast and leave the other two active, the cookie is no longer detected.
If you’ve already performed a conflict check against other plugins and the theme and the issue is still occurring, we expect this to be a bug. We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.
