Doubles up content in single post

I love this plugin but I had to remove it – wondering if the author can help or if anybody else had the same problem and fixed it.
I created the custom loop just fine and designated it to an archive template and all went well – the loop archive looked great and was just what I wanted.
The problem was that when I clicked on any of the read more links or linked images in the archive to go to the post single – the entry was doubled up – at the top of the page was the featured image, post title, excerpt, button etc. – then below it was was the full post with featured image, meta etc.
It got worse – it seems that it also broke all my standard Elementor loops because the same thing happened when I clicked read more or linked image in any of the standard archives.
I really wanted this to work because it’s the final pieces of customisation Elementor lacks.
