Doubt about reviews

Hey guys,
I saw this message and was in doubt.
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/review-count-is-not-updating/I didn’t quite understand. Do widgets only update reviews automatically in the pro version?
For example, if I installed this plugin in 2017 on 30 websites, in 2022 will it only have the 2017 reviews?
Will I need to manually update, otherwise the reviews will remain the same as years ago?
