Downgrading

    Hi,

    I’ve recently installed version 2.8.5 but it appears not to be working very well. When it comes to making new posts it will not let me submit them nor working the style of the writing etc.

    I am wondering how I go about downgrading to an earlier version which is tried and tested and working properly.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I have deleted all plug-ins actually as I rarely used any but the problem persists. Still no option to submit posts or to edit them with the tools that normally appear at the top of posts. Is this an isolated problem or has other people being having it?
