if I try to update – the file is not found. Also not found, if I try to download the plugin.

Seems like the last commit was corrupted on the SVN server, and the tag was missing on the server. I deleted and re-committed the 2.1.16 tag, and it seems to be working again. Let me know if you continue to see issues, though.
