What happens if a hacker get access to wp admin, delete all posts, then make X backups that will overwrite all previous backups done?.

It will be useful a single button to download the entire backup on local computer (now are different for database, plugins ..)

Hi,

If a hacker does gain access to wp-admin and overwrites the backups, then any backups stored in the connected remote storage location will be lost.

We recommend keeping a copy of a backup in a separate location, not connected to UpdraftPlus.

I will add a note to our development list to look into a single button download.

Note that with S3, you can configure a setup in which UpdraftPlus can’t delete your backups, so that they’re safe from even this hack: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/what-settings-should-i-use-for-amazon-s3-and-how-should-i-configure-my-amazon-s3-account/
