Hi there!
I can understand how that popup can be confusing.
Here’s how it works in WooCommerce Analytics:
- If all of the report data fits on a single screen (no pagination in the table), the CSV file will download immediately to your browser.
- If your selected date range results in more data than can fit on one page, WooCommerce processes the export as a background job instead.
- Once the export is ready, WooCommerce sends an email with a download link to the email address associated with the WordPress user account that initiated the download.
A couple of important notes:
- If there are multiple Administrators on the site, the currently logged-in Admin who clicks “Download” will receive the email.
- You can check or update your email address by going to Users → Profile in your WordPress dashboard.
If you don’t see the email, I’d also recommend checking your spam/junk folder.
Let us know if you’d like help narrowing down the report or adjusting the date range so it downloads instantly
Since we haven’t received any updates from you, I’ll mark this as resolved for now. If you need further assistance, you’re welcome to start a new thread.
