    Hi, I installed the Ultimate Gift Card plugin on mywebsite but I have two problems:
    1) I chose the “downloadable” option. But when the order is made, it is not automatically set in “finished” so it does not automatically send the card link to the buyer.
    2) Is it possible to have the gift card also cover shipping costs?

    I tried to set the order in “finished” and the buyer receives an email but with no downloadable link….

    Hiello,

    Thank you for reaching out! I’m happy to clarify the differences between the free version and the Pro version regarding these features:

    • Gift Card Delivery: In the free version, buyers receive the gift card template directly via email, which they can then use. The feature to generate and send gift cards as a PDF attachment is available in our Pro version
    • Shipping Costs: Currently, the free version only allows the gift card to cover the cost of products. The ability for a gift card to also cover shipping costs is a feature exclusive to the Pro version

    How to modify messages that appear on the product ?
    Instead of :
    “Après le paiement, vous pouvez imprimer votre carte-cadeau” I would like to write “Vous recevrez la carte par email après validation du paiement”

    Preview Button Issue: It appears the “Preview” button issue might be caused by a conflict with your current theme. Please try deactivating your theme and switching to a default WordPress theme (like Storefront) to see if the button begins working.

    Download after Purchase: Currently, it is not possible in the free version of the plugin to directly download the gift card from the website.

    Modifying Text/Strings: You can change the string “Après le paiement, vous pouvez imprimer votre carte-cadeau” to your preferred text using the Loco Translate plugin. This will allow you to search for that specific phrase and update it to your needs.

    Thank you. How can I add in the checkout the ability to pay with gift card ? I do not find the option in woocommerce payment settings….

    Hello,

    To clarify, there is no separate payment gateway option to enable in the WooCommerce payment settings. Instead, the gift card works seamlessly with the standard WooCommerce system:

    • How to pay: Buyers can simply enter their gift card code into the default WooCommerce coupon field on the Cart or Checkout page.
    • Redemption: Once the code is entered and applied, the gift card value will be deducted from the order total automatically.
