Downloading woocommerce using Github is really hard. Been at it for a couple of days with no success. A YouTube tutorial would be helpful because I don’t even understand these prerequisites on Github. The version of Woocommerce before this one was easy to install.

You can download older versions of WooCommerce from the releases section of a Github repository. You’ll want to download the woocommrce.zip package for the version you want.
