    Hi,

    It’s confusing. I installed your plugin and the first information I’ve got, I should upgrade to Pro version. Not very confidence-inspiring.

    Ok I ignored this. FYI Before I purchase your product I want to know if it works.

    I started the setup wizard and named the staging site. Everything worked fine and it says I’m ready. Your plugin created in a sub folder a new website, thus a clone on same website space.

    I clicked the link ‘https://mywebsite.de/mywebsite-clone’ for example and received the first issue as follows:

    Warning: copy(/mywebsite-clone/wp-content/plugins/share-one-drive/cache/.htaccess): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mywebsite-clone/wp-content/plugins/share-one-drive/share-one-drive.php on line 198

    Below this information I found the WP Staging login form. After I entered my admin credentials I received a lot more of errors and the login was impossible to the staging site. This is the the screenshot with errors: https://www.screencast.com/t/RQulFL46E5

    I’m not sure if this has to do with my 2FA I added to admin account, so I used my second admin account without 2FA, but I received the same errors as described above.

    Please can you tell me what’s wrong?

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi @per4mance
    This “warning” message is related to “share-one-drive” plugin, not WP Staging, most probably you have the WordPress DEBUG mode turned on, that’s why you can see all these warnings. I recommend turning it off:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug

    and of course sending these warnings to their related plugins’ authors.

    Back to the login issue in WP Staging plugin, I suggest trying the direct login URL like this:
    example.com/staging/wp-login.php

    Let me know how it goes,
    Thanks,
    Alaa

    Hi @alaasalama,

    Thank you for your response. The entries of my ‘wp-config.php’ are, related to what you mentioned:

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);

    Thus “define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);” is set to ‘off’. Secondly I already tried ‘https://mywebsite.de/mywebsite-clone/wp-login.php’ and receive the appearance of the original login website with same issues I described above. I used my admin credentials and receive the same behavior. Wordfence send me a notification email an admin with credentials XY logged in, but your plugin doesn’t redirect to backend mode. I already tried to access to ‘https://mywebsite.de/mywebsite-clone/wp-amin/’ directly but get this screen https://www.screencast.com/t/OQ4yTz4HGJ

    For me, your plugin doesn’t work and I’m not able to come to admin backend for testing. I’m able to send you via email the staging url if you give me your email.

    Hi Alaa,

    The support link you provide is for your Pro customers or for (Leave empty for pre-purchase questions or feature requests). But I’m none of these. Do you over this service for free customers too or do I have to buy your product first?

    Regards,
    Thorsten
