• Hi

Some of my drafts are public on my main page. Why? I have no idea. The drafts should be private since they are not ready to be published yet. I had to change some of these drafts into “private public posts” so that they weren’t going to show on the main page.

I have other drafts that don’t show up also. And those I keep as tradiitonal drafts. Why this only happens to some drafts I have no idea. Someone has a clue?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

“private public posts” isn’t a normal WordPress post status, items can’t be both private and public.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I would hazard a guess that you are logged in when viewing these drafts/posts?
It is only hidden to users who are not logged in.
Try viewing the pages using incognito mode and see if the problem persists.

If a post is in draft, only logged in users can view it
If a post is private, only logged in users can view it
