• For some odd reason when I grab a widget to drag to the sidebar, it won’t move. Although I am new, I can’t really see how I could screw this up but I can’t drag them either way. Any help here or suggestion would sure be appreciated. Thanks!

  • From the widgets area, try “screen options” > disable accessibility mode and see if that makes any difference.

But what happens when the “screen options” drop down is also broken on this page? Screen options works on all pages, except this.
There’s something screwing with javascript, for sure. Just gotta find it!
This is on a fresh install, no plugins. Default theme.

Thanks. I found that one of the plug-in modules was causing this problem. I went through and deactivated each plug-in individually until I found the one causing the problem. I will remember your tip for future though.

    Hi,

    Check with these options:

    1. Generally, it is due to the plugins which creates this kind of problem….so you can either deactivate all plugins from database…And reactivate one-by-one to find culprit…or rename the Plugins directory via FTP.

    2. From wordpress admin area -> Appearance-> Widgets under Screen options, try the Enable Accessibility Mode.

    3. Delete or refresh the browser cache.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
