If I’m understanding you correctly, the plugin already does this.
I thought the only posts you can’t drag and drop on the calendar were published post and why would you need to change the date of an already published post.
You can drag some post statuses, but not all … scheduled is one in particular, and I think there are other statuses as well that can’t be moved…
As far as published – there are many deadlines that change requiring a post to need to be rearranged…
so leaving it open to the individual admin, either through general options, or role restricted ones, would be better than to blanket make an assumption about how/why someone would/should need to move posts around.
just my thoughts of course…
You’re right that the scheduled post can’t be moved which I agree is an issue since pre-scheduled post are moved all the time.
I’m still not sure of the need to move an already published post. It’s already been published and is live so moving it on the calendar doesn’t seem to be a core function that’s necessary.
Sometimes there is a need to unpublish an article but not sure it’s needed enough to be added to the plugin…just my opinion.
When do you expect that we’ll be able to drag and drop “scheduled” posts on the calendar?
