    Hello–

I think I now understand how the Grid and Container items work together.

One issue I have come up across is say you have a grid and 20 containers inside of it. When you are trying to reorder the container blocks within the grid you often do not get a clean target line or target area for dropping the block, especially when you’re trying to do this at the end of a grid. There just doesn’t seem to be a way to cleanly target moving a block from one part of the grid to the other using drag and drop. I’m able to do it more intuitively with the Move to arrows but sometimes the drag and drop is a better workflow.

Can you shed any insight on this? Firefox and Win10.

A related point of feedback for the UI, and perhaps this is more gutenberg than GB, I would love a way to very clearly select a container block in the editor instead of having to guess where the container is and then select in the margin of it to select the entire container block. I appreciate there is the block navigation but it doesn’t provide enough context.

One possible idea is some sort of ‘container’ or ‘grid’ mode where you can only move containers in the editor without getting lost in clicking each container’s contents.

My 2 cents that maybe you have further insight on. Always appreciate your insight, thanks!

    Hi there,

This definitely more of a Gutenberg editor UI/UX than a GB issue.

Gutenberg’s drag and drop function isn’t as refined as Elementor or Oxygen Builder.

It’d be nice if Gutenberg had something like Elementor’s navigation or Oxygen Builder’s Structure sidebar.
