Hi firstly you have a great product.
Now what I want to see if it is easy (lowcost) to create.
I want to set up a video games store online where users can sell or buy video games either theres or others.
    Dokan obviously fulfils that ability.
    BUT
Where one would enter the title of the product in dokan is it possible to make that a drop down list of titles, and the user can match his title to one online?

    Hello @gnfb

    Thank you for reaching us.

I would like to help you if you want to create a list of product titles (which will be names of the games in your case) then make a drop-down list and let vendors select from them, it will require proper customizations which I am unable to provide as per our support policy. I believe you can understand that.

However, you might need to create a custom taxonomy then show a drop-down of the values (string) on the product upload form. You can have a look at the category drop-down as an example.

    Best Regards!

    Hello @gnfb

    Thank you for getting back.

I am regretfully writing that I might not be clear with your query as you have mentioned the user but not the user role. The admin, the vendor, as well as customers are users but with different user roles.

However, by default, you have a page called the shop page to show all products regardless of the product author , moreover, with Dokan you get single store pages for each vendor and there you will find all the products for the user/vendor regardless of having those in stock or not. As long as you keep products online they will be visible on the store page. The only difference is that your customers won’t be able to add them to the cart if the product is not in stock.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello,
I believe you are doing well,

As you haven’t replied for a long, I’m considering that your query is being satisfied and I’m also resolving this topic.

But feel free to create another one anytime.
