Drop-down menu on mobile not working
-
Hello,
I’ve had to deactivate the Fast Velocity Minify plug-in because since the recent updates on 26/27 December, the drop-down menu on my website is not working on a mobile (iPhone). I did manually enable JS optimization, but that didn’t help. I am using WordPress version 5.6 with the TwentySeventeen theme. I’ve also installed the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper, but that has no effect on the issue. I’ve deactivated that one to see if it made a difference with your plug-in, but it does not. I’ve cleared the cache after every activation/deactivation of each plug-in. Is there something I should be doing so that the FVM plug-in works without affecting the drop-down menu? Thanks for any help. The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi,
After the update, javascript should have not been responsible for that.
Have you tried to disable CSS processing and see if it’s CSS related? Also, some animations are merged into a separate file if you enable the “Merge Fonts and Icons Separately”, so try to disable it first and see if it works.
Hi,
I have tried both of your suggestions, but the drop-down menu still did not work correctly. I have deactivated the plug-in again, and now everything is working fine again. Do you have any other thoughts? Thanks.
I haven’t seen any issue with breeze enabled on my test sites.
Please ensure your breeze settings are as follows:Basic Options (ignore what is blurred)
Advanced Options:
Leave everything empty and unselected.Other tabs should not matter.
If you still have issues with these settings, feel free to contact me via fastvelocity.com with access to your test, staging version and I may be able to take a closer look, else I’m not sure what else I can suggest.
Thanks
I am not using Breeze. It is untested with my version of WP, version 5.6. I am using W3 Total Cache. Thank you.
Sorry, I posted the previous answer on the wrong window.
Looking at your site, FVM doesn’t look to be in place, or maybe it’s just page cached when you disabled it earlier.
Can you test the “Disable Merging and Inline all CSS” option?
Thanks
I have check-marked “Disable merging and inline all CSS” in the settings. Now, the drop-down menu works on my home page, but does not work on any of the other pages. In other words, if I go to another page from the drop-down menu on the home page, I am not able to navigate away from that page.
If you have JS processing disabled, and if the issue is only caused by the CSS option, then you would need to find which css file is causing it.
Once you do that, add it to the css ignore list.
This is the same method as FVM 2.Look at the status tab for a list of css files being merged, then try to add them to the ignore list one by one.
Also, disable JS processing, just to ensure it’s nothing related to it while testing.
Not sure if related though… but please try version 3.0.5 as there were some css fixes, and compatibility fixes with subdirectory installs.
