Drop down menu's

I’m running a Graph Paper Press theme, On Assignment and have used some drop down menu’s.

My problem is the correct functionality of the drop down sections. I have set up and named for instance the Parent page – Porfolios. With the two child pages being – weddings portfolios and engagement porfolios. Both child pages function perfectly.

What I need is to stop the parent page from being a clickable page. Presently you can select it and it just load a blank page – which looks bad.

Anyone know what to do ?
