This didn’t work for me.
I’m trying to use a custom label on a <select> block (drop-down menu) that is a required field, but when not selecting anything, the form returns the label value as the input, while what I want is for the form to be rejected because the user didn’t select anything.

Posting in an existing topic prevents being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.
