Drop in AMP traffic after update
-
after updating and deleting the two plugins “AMP by Automattic” and “Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP” (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/do-i-need-amp-by-automattic-and-glue-for-yoast-seo-amp-anymore/), I reported a drop in AMP traffic.
I wonder what may have happened.
I’ve resumed the settings before backup:
“ampforwp-seo-meta-description”:”0″,
“ampforwp-seo-custom-additional-meta”:””,
“ampforwp-seo-yoast-meta”:”1″,
“ampforwp-seo-yoast-description”:”0″,
“ampforwp-robots-archive-sub-pages-sitewide”:”0″,
“ampforwp-robots-archive-author-pages”:”1″,
“ampforwp-robots-archive-date-pages”:”1″,
“ampforwp-robots-archive-category-pages”:”1″,
“ampforwp-robots-archive-tag-pages”:”1″,Now I have abled meta description and meta description in structured data json.
Is it possible that a variation of page meta tags can affect the traffic?

PS: a sample of amp page returned are valid, using the official validator. (tomorrow I will check the Google Search Console)
