• Hi

    I am using Dropbox for remote storage. Since yesterday I have been receiving emails with the message:

    HTTP status 400
    {“error”: “v1_retired”}

    I checked at Dropbox, and their API v1 was retired on Thursday, September 28th, 2017. However, my apps were all recently created, so should all be on v2. To test, I removved an App and replaced it with a new one.

    On testing (XCloner – verify settings) I get:

    Dropbox connection error: HTTP status 400 {“error”: “v1_retired”}

    Does the plugin need updating to use Dropbox v2?

    Thanks for all your work on this great plugin.

    Tim

  • Seems to be a compatibility issue with PHP 5, it would help to switch your site to PHP 7, but i will look more into adding a fix for PHP 5

    I did post a fix to the same package to fix PHP5.5+ compatibility issues, please try now and reinstall the 4.0.5 version

    Hi Liuta

    That is looking good. I have just uploaded a 1.7GB backup successfully. I will run a couple more tests and report back if I have any more problems.

    Will you be doing another release or will I need to reinstall on all my sites?

    Thanks. Great support.

    I won’t do a release just yet, so it might be best to reinstall XCloner if you like
