dropdown button not working

    Hello,

    I have just installed the Author theme. one issue that i have observed is that I am not able to click dropdown button in the menu or dropdown button when I am using mobile or tab. In short i am not able to use drop down feature anywhere.

    but weird thing is that the same feature is woking when i try to preview website in customize theme option.

    i have checked with chrome, IE and safari browser but error is persisting.

    kindly require you help.

    Actually, the problem is currently solved when I deleted W3 Total cache plugin. But request you to look in the matter since I would be requiring that plugin.

    Also, request you to check in Mobile since currently, it is an only option to view a drop down feature.

    Try emptying all the caches in W3 Total Cache. There may be some Javascript still cached from a theme/plugin that is no longer active. This could cause an error that would stop the dropdown button from working.

    If that doesn’t work, disable the Javascript minifying feature and clear the cache once more. I can’t recall if W3 has a concatenation feature for Javascript as well, but if it does disable that too before emptying the cache.

    This should fix any JS errors and allow the dropdown button to function again with W3 Total Cache active.
