Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
I’m not really sure that I understand. Unfortunately, the link that you posted does not work for me, I only get a “Not found” error. Is that really a published page?

Tobias

Sorry for this late reply. I have fixed the “Not found”issue highlighted. Pls help to solve my problem with Tablepress page, the menu bar does not show upon clicking into this page: lovecellsbe.com/fit4skin/
As mentioned earlier, the page gets back to normal when I deactivated Tablepress plugin.
Hi,
I’m not sure that I can now see the error, which menu are you referring to here?
Now, as you are only using the Horizontal Scrolling feature of DataTables, I suggest to replace that with a non-JS solution. For that, please uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox and instead use the scroll mode that the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ offers then.

Tobias

Hi Tobias, thanks for the advice. After unchecking the “Use DataTabkes”, i noticed the entire screen (mobile view) is movable. I still prefer the earlier fixed screen with the scroll mode on. Hope this is not the cause of the disappearing of the menu bars.
As for the missing menu bar, it happens only in mobile view when we click into “Fit4skin” page. I can’t find the 3 red bars at the top right corner when i clicked to page. These 3 red bars somehow or rather will only appear when i scroll the page up and down for several times.
Do you need my login details?
Hi,
just unchecking the “Use DataTables” checkbox is not enough. You should then also use that scroll mode to get scrolling back.

Yes, it is indeed under scroll mode and able to scroll to right and back.
How about the missing menu bars? Could you pls help to identify the cause?
Thks
Hi,
is the menu icon also missing when you turn off DataTables and instead use the scroll mode of the Extension?
I don’t see any JavaScript errors, so that I don’t know why this is not showing 🙁

Yes exactly. The menu icon is not appearing even after I turned off the DataTable and use the scroll mode of the extension. Similarly, it will appear only after a few up and down scrolls on the page.
Any other check?
Hi,
unfortunately, I don’t have other ideas here, sorry 🙁

Meaning, I need to remove the TablePress plugin and replace with other? How come? I thougt Tablepress works well with wordpress……
Hi,
I don’t think that TablePress causes this, to be honest. If you turned off DataTables, all it does is add some HTML code to the page.
Can you please do that again? And use the scroll mode again, for me to see.

I think I am caught. I just realized if I unchecked “Use the following features of the DataTables JavaScript library with this table:” in Use DataTables, all info below it can’t be picked, this includes the Horizontal Scrolling too… This is not your intention right?
Hi,
yes, this is my intention! 🙂 I want you to turn off that Horizontal Scrolling checkbox AND the “Use DataTables” checkbox. This will turn off all JavaScript code that TablePress loads.
Then, to get horizontal scrolling back (but in a different technical way, without JavaScript code), I want you to use the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ with its scroll mode.

Tobias
