dropdown menu on mobile

The menu in my head shows drop down menus on sub categories when viewed on pc but on mobile the subcategories are all shown underneath their parents with no drop down button to bring them back up. Is there a way to change it or will an extension be the only solution for what I want?

Hi @greenterror, I’m not entirely sure I fully understand what you’re trying to do, but it seems like you want the menu to work different on mobile and on desktop.
Storefront has 3 menu locations built into its core: primary, secondary and handheld. If you add a new menu under Customize > Menus and assign it to the handheld location you can choose which items to add and they can be different from the desktop version.
