Hey @wardencenter
No, this is the behaviour that’s currently present in Blocksy. If I’m right, this has some accessibility implications and that’s why it was implemented in this way.
Though, I’ll note this in our improvements list so I can see our developers’ opinion and get back to you.
Thanks.
Thank you!
Would you happen to know of any CSS that would over-ride this feature?
Hello @wardencenter
I can confirm that this bug only happens in Safari. Chrome and Firefox should be fine. 🙂
We’re investigating internally for a fix and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks.
hmmmm – perhaps your reply was for a different support post?
I’m using Chrome, btw…
What O_o
We have just tested this in Chrome and it worked correctly. Can you please provide your website’s URL?
Thanks.
Appreciate this. Here it is:

Hey @wardencenter
Ok, so I’ve noticed that your Blocksy install is a little bit out of date and that you’re also running a caching plugin.
Please try updating Blocksy and clearing the cache throughly. This should make things work better.
Thanks.
Oh really?! Oh no! Will update the Blocksy install pronto…funny – my dashboard isn’t notifying me that there’s a new Blocksy theme version. Thanks – I’ll report back!
OK – we did a bad, bad, thing. Apparently we thought it would be a good idea to rename the theme to “Dewings Center” and change the style.css accordingly. Obviously, this is why my dashboard didn’t notify me of a Blocksy Theme update. As you said…
What O-o
Any advice on how I would go about updating? And, of course, how to undo someone’s genius idea of renaming the theme??
I tried renaming the theme folder and replacing the style.css with the style.css from Blocksy 1.18.14, but that pretty much broke everything and I had to restore from backup.

Cloned the site. Deleted all cache and optimize plugins.
Figured out how to get the theme to recognize it’s Blocksy. Updated to version 1.8.16.
Updated WordPress to 5.9
Menu issue persists. Advice?
Here’s the clone site for you:

Hey @wardencenter
Please update the Companion as well. You’re on 1.8.10 and the latest version is 1.8.17 🙂
Not that I don’t believe you, but my Dashboard says I’m on Blocksy Companion 1.8.17

Hey @wardencenter
Yeah, but for some reason or another the main.min.css file from the Companion was showing .10. Anyways, I’m not even sure how I could diagnose this because everything seems to be in order.
I have one last request for you, if you can. Can you export your Customiser settings and attach them here? You can do so from Customiser -> General -> Manage Options. You’ll only need to export the customiser settings, without the widgets. Something must be conflicting with this.
Thanks.
Ok – I have it…but I don’t know how to attach it here, so I’ve placed a link for you at the bottom of this page:

THANK YOU, btw!
