Dropdown plugin function

Hello
My first query was about one year ago now.
Since then I haven t seen any topic about that so maybe I am the only one that desperately need that function.
Do you plan to implement the possibility to choose drop down function from the plugin in future release?
I am personally unable to do it from a PHP point of view
