Dropdown Slideshow List Not Updating

    The select slideshow dropdown list is not updating. I added some new slideshows to the MetaSlider, but the new slideshows do not appear in the slideshow dropdown when I insert the MetaSlider block onto a page. However, a slideshow I deleted does continue to appear in the dropdown, even though it is no longer present in the MetaSlider plugin’s list of slideshows.

    Also, when I try to change themes after adding slides, I get an error message telling me something went wrong and to try refreshing the page. Refreshing doesn’t make any difference.

    I tried deactivating my cache plugin (W3Cache), but that didn’t make any difference. The slideshow dropdown list still won’t update to include added slideshow and excluded deleted slideshows. I do not have any other lazy image or caching plugins enabled, so I don’t know what else to check.

    Thanks for using MetaSlider. This is the first time we’ve had this error reported, which is unusual with a plugin of 700k installs.

    Could I ask you to try our troubleshooting guide, please? https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/

    If I had to guess, this sounds like it could be a plugin conflict.
