Hi,
It was mentioned in the Plugin version update that SSL requirement has been enabled and you can still bypass it using the insecure variable.
But in hindsight, that was a mistake. I offer my apology, will change the error message too.
Update: Error message has been updated in current version 2.4.
Evanvar,
Do you not test updates on a development clone of your main website?
If you don’t do this then it’s really really bad practice and completely your fault.
As for it being rude… it’s not, I highly doubt you had anyone complain.
It certainly doesn’t deserve YOUR rude reply to the plugin author and 1 star.
Just my two pennies.
Thanks Ali.
Hyflex, you got to be kidding me…..OBVIOUSLY we test everything and again obviously we’ve missed this change. If I’m here complaining it means that its a big deal for me and my company and yes to answer your question I had 2 complaints within 11 minutes, and I don’t think my reply was rude, ITS CALLED FEEDBACK, and remember that behind each bad review there are 100 more 😉
Hi Evanvar
I really hope you have donated to the Plugin author if you are using this plugin on a site with 10,000+ users?
If you haven’t that would also be very rude.
Matt
