Hi, I’m having a major issue on a client site. When a customer adds a product to their cart, another person sees that same product. There are times that happens with the checkout fields. What could it be?
We have the site in wpmudev, object cache activated and static. We also use wp’s fastest cache.
Due to confidentiality issues I cannot send the website
The problem you are facing sounds like a caching issue. I suggest you first check with your hosting provider to ensure that your cart and checkout pages are excluded from their server cache, as this is often the main cause of such problems.
As a second step, try disabling all caching plugins you have installed and see if that resolves the issue.
Additionally, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report to get a better understanding of your setup. This will help in diagnosing the issue more accurately.
I’ve reviewed the System Status report for your site and noticed that both the WP-Optimize caching plugin and Object Cache are active. These caching mechanisms can sometimes cause issues like the one you’re experiencing, where one customer’s cart or checkout fields are visible to another person.
I recommend deactivating both the WP-Optimize plugin and Object Cache temporarily and then testing the site to see if the issue persists.

the wp-optimize plugin was activated at the time because we did a database cleanup. We no longer have that plugin. The object cache is not a plugin, it is on the server. We already disabled it through wp-config.php with the command line and the problem persists.
Is there a way to pass the link to the site but it is not here in the post to the public?
We already tested the site without the 2 caches and it still happens. so we activated them again. I understand that there is a problem with the wooocommerce database and its cache

The issue you’re experiencing is indeed quite peculiar, and seems to be related to caching. Cart and checkout pages must be excluded from the server cache, which is a common cause of such issues. To troubleshoot, I would recommend the following steps:
Contact your hosting provider and ensure that your cart and checkout pages are excluded from their server cache.
Temporarily disable all your plugins, including caching, except WooCommerce, to see if the problem persists.
Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four

After inspecting your site I can confirm that the problem is caused by the Cookies. Here are screenshots of my findings:
This is a screenshot of two different browser windows. One is a regular session and another is an incognito session of Google Chrome. Note that wp_woocoomeerce_session_ cookies have the same value in both windows. This value was also the same in a different browser (Firefox). The wp_woocoomeerce_session_ cookie value should be unique for each customer.
Furthermore, I noticed several errors related to cookies. They originated from Google Tag Manager and Mercado Pago.
To help me investigate further and find out what is causing this cookie issue, could perform the following steps: 1- Deactivate all the plugins except WooCommerce 2- Disable the Mercado Pago payment method. You may keep any offline payment method like Check Payments or COD method. 3- Deactivate the Object Cache on the server. 4- Switch the theme to the Twenty Twenty-Four theme.
