• Resolved ANDCAP

    Hello,
I have a warning in my Meta Pixel Helper:

    WARNINGS
The Facebook pixel activated 2 times on this web page, which can cause errors in your event tracking.

I have both the Facebook Pixel and the Conversions API active on my website (the Conversions API setup required me to insert the pixel code again).
Should I only activate the Conversions API, or do I need both? How can I resolve this duplicate pixel issue?

    Thanks

    Hi Andrea,

    Thanks for your message.

Yes, that’s exactly what happens when you have both the Facebook Pixel and the Conversions API code added — it ends up firing twice because both include the same Pixel ID.

You only need to use the Conversions API in this case, as it already includes your Pixel ID and handles the events properly. I’d recommend removing the standard Facebook Pixel code from your site to avoid the duplicate firing warning and ensure accurate tracking.

Let me know if you need help removing it or have any other questions.

    All the best.
