When booking via backend calendar, 2x entries created in the same google calendar so we have to manually delete duplicate. If client books via online form then no duplication occurs. Why?

Also, when a booking is cancelled in any regard it is no longer removed from the google calendar so we are having to monitor cancellations and manually remove in google cal.

    Hi,

did you associate a google calendar to your assistants? If so, check if the calendar of one of your assistants is the same of the calendar selected on salon booking system / google calendar settings

hi, yes we have 5 calendars all correctly associated. Like I say it does sync to the google calendar, but duplicates on the google when made manually via back end.

Front end is fine to sync one way and adds only one entry to google.

    Hi,

check if one of those 5 google calendars assigned to your assistants are the same of the one selected for the entire shop ( the one you set on google calendar settings of salon booking system” )

I tried that – so If I change the calendar setting to say calander 1, and then book a session on calendar 5 in the backend, then we now get 2 duplicate bookings on google 5, and another on google 1 Thus then now gives 3 google entries!

just tried this again and get the 3 google calendar entries, but when I cancel the entry in the backend, it will remove the one on google calender 1 (the other 2 remain on google cal 5)
