You’ll notice the large white gap between the header and the page content. If you inspect HTML here you’ll see where the extra product image section is being inserted.
Again, this only happens when you create a custom page template in DIVI for a product. If you leave it as default it doesn’t create the extra image section (see any other product on website).

Was unable to fix the duplicate image issue and must be a conflict with this plugin and Divi. Hopefully they will fix the issue soon

It was a cache issue which I solved by using a random cache clearing plugin and the issue was resolved
