@baltasara you’re using an outdated version of the free plugin (2.10.1) on your site. We released an important update for the yearly number reset on december 6 (2.11.0) that addresses some problems when you have enabled “Reset invoice number yearly” and want to generate invoices for non-current years. I recommend to delete those invoices you created, update the plugin to the latest version and then generate the invoices again.
It is strongly recommended to always keep your plugins up to date, you also missed the security update 2.10.5.

By the way, please note that if you have already created invoices for 2022 too, it is not possible for last year’s invoice numbers to be automatically generated, even with the latest version (because you didn’t update before the new year).
If that’s the case, you will need an alternative approach:
- Disable “Reset invoice number yearly”
- Set the “Next invoice number” to the last invoice number of 2021, +1
- Create your 2021 invoices
- Set the “Next invoice number” to the last invoice number of 2022, +1
- Enable “Reset invoice number yearly” again

The problem is that all orders already have the number 2021/00001.
How can I assign a new number to those that are wrong?
or how can I delete the invoice number for all orders that are wrong and re-invoice?
