Duplicate Notes, Emails & Stock Reduction

Hi Support Team,
I’m running into an issue where WooCommerce processes PayPal orders twice, causing multiple problems on my store. Here’s what I’m observing:
Issue Summary:
- Order notes are duplicated — I see two identical status updates such as “Order status changed from Pending payment to Completed” within the same minute.
- Two “New Order” admin emails are triggered for a single PayPal payment.
- Product stock is reduced twice, as if the order were processed two separate times.
- Only one actual PayPal payment is captured — customers are not double-charged.
It appears WooCommerce is running the completion process twice for PayPal transactions.
Actions Already Taken:
- Updated WordPress, WooCommerce, and all plugins/themes to the latest versions.
- Cleared WooCommerce sessions, caches, and transients.
I’ve also noticed that several other users are experiencing the same issue, so it doesn’t appear to be isolated. If you need logs or any sensitive information from my side, please let me know exactly what is required and how I can send it privately.
Sharing files through privatebin/privatebash makes the data publicly accessible to anyone with the link, and I don’t want these logs visible to everyone. Please advise on a secure way to share the information directly with your support team only.
