Duplicate Posts

I am using the Expound theme. Great theme and it works well for the site I’m working on. But I have one issue I hope someone can help me with.

When I add a category as a menu item, all the posts related to that category are displayed duplicated. One with a “Continue Reading” button and one that shows the entire post.

Is there any way to stop the duplications?

Right now the site is in development. It’s a site for a non-profit organization. Once I get over this issue I can make the site live which would in turn make them rather happy.
