Duplicate shop page
-
Hello,
I need to duplicate the shop page.
I need to have another page to display differents products. In my vase, I can’t use product categories.
I’m just trying to figure out what’s the best way to do this.
Thanks 🙂

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can create a custom shop page using WooCommerce blocks – for example, Products by Category, Products by attribute, Products by Tag or even Hand-picked products for custom product lists.
You would go to WordPress > Pages > Add New and click the + in the upper left to pick a block like shown in the image below.

Hope this helps!
Thanks for response 🙂
Another question :
https://woocommerce.com/document/permalinks/#section-2
After reading this link, i’m not sure to understand.
In my shop I want the following permalinks :
/shop -> archive page
/shop/%product_cat% -> archive page for product categories
/shop/%product_cat%/slug_single_product -> single product pageIt’s posible ?
Thanks 🙂Hi @aksl95
Thanks for your question.
/shop -> archive page is the default shop page. Can you please share your shop link if it is different, so we can understand your point better?
/shop/%product_cat% -> archive page for product categories
/shop/%product_cat%/slug_single_product -> single product page
These can be achieved by having shop/ as the custom base.Going through the next part of the documentation may make thing clearer:
https://woocommerce.com/document/permalinks/#section-3Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
You can share your site URL if you need us to take a closer look.
Thanks
My site is under development, sorry !
/shop is the default shop page yeah.
I didn’t quite understand this note from doc so, can you tell me more?
Note: The product Custom base setting should NOT conflict with the Taxonomy permalink settings. If you set the product base to shop for example, you should NOT set the product category base to shop too, as this will not be unique and cause a conflict. WordPress requires something unique so it can distinguish categories from products.
Hi @aksl95
I didn’t quite understand this note from doc so, can you tell me more?
Sure!
This note is referring to the URL structure settings that you can find under
Settings → PermalinkThere you can set the bases for your URLs, such as a
“Product category base”, a “Product tag base”, and a “Product attribute base”.In its last section, called Product permalinks, if you choose the “Custom base” option, you must type in a word/text that is different from the word/text you used before. Otherwise, this might cause a conflict.
I hope that helps
Hi there,
To avoid conflicts I would change the “Préfixe des catégories de produit” from
boutiquetocategorie-produitor something similar.Cheers.
We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, the above info was helpful.
