Hi Vann Digital Networks,
This is definitely not supposed to happen.
The SEO Framework does not output a title tag, it does however alter it, but can’t cause a duplication of this kind.
Are you using any other SEO plugins in conjunction with The SEO Framework? If so, does helping deactivating those plugins solve this issue?
If you have made alterations to the theme you’re using, could you make a backup of the alterations through FTP and re-install the Frontier theme?
For as far as I know, the Frontier theme is doing it all right 🙂
If you have any follow up questions or more details regarding this issue, please let me know!
Thanks and have a great day!

Yea I didn’t think so…
“Are you using any other SEO plugins in conjunction with The SEO Framework? If so, does helping deactivating those plugins solve this issue?“
No not at all. I made sure I deleted every last 1 (Yoast SEO included)…
Hi Vann Digital Networks,
That’s good to rule that cause out 🙂
Does switching to the Default Theme (Twenty-Fifteen) solve this issue?
If not, a plugin causing this. If so, there’s probably a wrong alteration within the theme you’re currently using.P.S. I also want to notify you that I see you’ve enabled
noindexfor the whole website. This will cause Search Engines not to index your website.I was able to change some code in my header to get rid of the duplicate titles.

Didn’t know that but I did enabled
noindexfor everything but my Posts & my Homepage…Hi Vann Digital Networks,
I’m glad to hear it has been resolved, avid coders are always welcome 🙂
I also see you’ve reverted the
noindexoption. This is good for your website. If you’re unsure about the use of an option, it’s best to keep it per default. I think I should include a small tutorial of best practice settings. For now, the defaults are considered best practice for almost any website, especially within the Robots Meta Settings box.
I’m marking this topic as resolved. If you however still have questions regarding this subject, feel free to re-open this topic and/or reply within this topic. Any other questions are best handled within a new topic.
Thanks, I hope you enjoy your day!
I am having this same issue.
My site is outputting duplicate titles. May I ask what was changed in the header file to alleviate your issue?
I will list my current plugins, however, the only way that I have found to resolve my issue is to change the theme, however the developer hasn’t been very responsive.

Hi e11studios,
I understand the relationship between your issue and this topic, but as this topic is over 7 months old, I think it’s best to open a new one (or continue on this one)! I’d be more than happy to help you out there :).
When you open a new topic (or continue on the other one), please state the theme name (and possibly link to it), as I think that will help me sort this out for you :).
If it’s a premium theme, could you please send me the containedfunctions.phpandheader.phpfile within a zip folder right here as well? Thanks and have a great day!
