So I created a placement and what happens is that the ad banner is being shown twice. Once where it’s supposed to be and a second time somewhere else, usually on the bottom area of the page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @torgut,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I checked the page you shared and couldn’t find any ads delivered via Advanced Ads. The image in the sidebar and the banner below the article don’t look like inserted by the plugin.

In case you have disabled the ads from Advanced Ads, I recommend implementing them again, at least on a test page, so that I can observe the issue.

Please also share screenshots of how you are implementing the ad(s). For example, the ad and placement settings, or which shortcode you are using and how.

    Thank you!

    Best regards,

Argh, this is a difficult situation. It happens when I chose the placement above or below contents, and if that’s done, it will show double banners it all posts of the website, I don’t see a way to make it only in a test post… oh perhaps I can create a temp category.

I did, but the plugin doesn’t seem to respect the display condition for Category is Temp

However, somehow, the second, duplicated, banner disappeared. Trouble now is in the home page which shows a banner on the top, above everything else.

The banner below is in fact from your plugin, but it’s served through the Newspaper ads manager – with the code.

    Hello @torgut,

    Thanks for your reply!

You can use the Specific Pages display condition to exclude ad delivery on a particular page, such as the homepage, if you are using a static page as your homepage.

Otherwise, you can use the General Conditions to exclude the homepage if your homepage shows the latest posts.

I think this should solve your issue of having an ad on a page where you don’t want it.

You can find more about display conditions here: https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/display-conditions/

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Have a great day!
