    Hi,

The issue is that I have duplicated RSS item entries that I need to remove.

I replaced an existing podcasting plugin with powerpress, because the previous one was extremely unreliable. In the process I copied the RSS feed from my hosting provider to the powerpress feed. That feed contained incomplete information, because the previous plugin was so unreliable (that was the reason for switching to powerpress which I had good experience with, in the past).

Then I changed the blog posts to use the powerpress player, which added the same episodes to the RSS-feed a second time. So now, even though this podcast only has 5 episodes out, yet, it displays ten.

Is there a way to reset the RSS feed or remove the duplicates?

    Thanks,
    Dennis

Simply remove the unwanted POSTS on your website.

There are no unwanted posts on my website. I didn’t make new posts, I changed the old ones to have the new player.

PS huh, turned out there were indeed unwanted posts.

I guess powerpress automatically created new posts when I copied the RSS feed.

I didn’t see them, though, they were buried among all the other non-podcast posts, and they were filed under “uncategorized”.

Would have been great to include that in the response, that would have saved me a two hours.
