Duplicator and public_html url problem

    So I decided to use Duplicator to move my wordpress site to the server, and it worked well, except I’m having a problem with the main page’s url having public_html after .com.

    The main page brings me to an “index of.” I uploaded my wordpress stuff to my public_html folder when I used Core for ftp.

    My host told me that I should move the WordPress directory up one and out of the public_html folder, but then the website doesn’t work right.

    Any thoughts on what I should do? I sense I may have to start over again with creating a Duplicator package.
