Duplicator Build Interrupt Error

    Duplicator has been a great resource for me as I do on and off support of my church’s site which runs on WestHost. I inadvertently destroyed my local development site and needed to recreate it. I was running 4.4.2, updated to the newest Duplicator and started the build. It failed:

    Build Interrupt
    The current build has experienced an issue.
    Please try the process again.

    The log file has no errors in it. I immediately retry the build and it fails in the same way. I have changed the Duplicator configuration to use some of the timeout troubleshooting suggestions to no avail.

    Is this probably a timeout issue, or could it be something else?

    Hey Dirkt,

    How far does the Duplicator log file get or to what section (please don’t post full log here). You may also check the php error log to see if the plugin threw any errors there…

    I’m still looking for where the PHP errors woulds be. The last lines of the log are:

    Check the wp-snapshots directory or the root wordpress directory normally its a file named error_log. Also the php.ini file on the server will show were the direct path to the file is located…

    I haven’t been able to get it to throw an error in a log. To me the Duplicator log looks complete.

    Hey Dirk,

    You will need to delete all those packages and files ASAP as you don’t want to post sensitive log data online. You may need to contact your host to see if they can help you isolate if an error_log file is being thrown. If you want to submit a separate support ticket I can look at it when I get some time…

    Just because everything looked like it worked on the archive creation, save for the build interrupt message, I tried installing it… and it worked. I am doing a more thorough test now but a cursory one showed no problems.
