Duplicator problem – URLs not functioning proprely

    Hi !

    I’d appreciate all your advise and help on following issue :

    a) I have WordPress installed on a host that I am migrating from.

    b) I want to install WordPress in a subdirectory off root, and have modified .htaccess file to redirect my URL ( getjoy.in) to a folder (public_html/getjoy )

    c) Have transferred WordPress using Duplicator to public_html/getjoy on the new host.

    d) Now, when I enter http://getjoy.in, I reach my home page which is fine. But when I click on any post/page link. it takes me to http://gejoy.in/getjoy/post or http://gejoy.in/getjoy/page whereas at my earlier host the intervening ‘getjoy’ was not here and I’d like same behavior here ( advantage of short URL etc..).

    e) Kindly advise what to do . Thanks much !

    Typically on cPanel hosted sites that can be controlled through the domain addon manager. You might contact your host for the best way the prescribe setting up the directory structures to map correctly…
