I have never heard of that issue before. The only icon as you mentioned that I can think of would be the svg file. Maybe delete the plugin and see if it goes away?

i deleted the plugin and that didn’t make any difference. I deleted the complete installation and database and installed again and there is no difference. I used the original files and didn’t generate a new installer.php or zip file.
the page favicon is the duplicator icon.
Where is the sgv stored?

I have exactly the same issue. I uploaded a bunch of sites with duplicator, and in all of them the duplicator logo has replaced the favicon. Did you guys come up with a solution for this?

Delete browser cache did the trick for me.
