Duplicator set Admin accounts throws scan errors

    Hi,
    I have used the free version of Duplicator to clone a few WordPress domains and
    use the files and plugins-setup on other domains…

    When I clone a domain, I import them into another domain and sometimes
    need to setup a different admin account, what you can already do, when
    you use the Duplicator installer.php script.

    All is fine then, but when I use the Wordfence scan, it says:
    critical error:
    An admin was created outside of WordPress

    But when I click ignore, this error message will come up also again in the
    next scan.. and the first time I clicked Revoke and it logged me completely
    out of my site and I needed to install it again, what was pretty annoying…
    So is there any fix to this ? How can we permanently tell Wordfence, that this
    user was registered okay by me in the Duplicator installer and that this is a valid admin account ?

    Hi Stefan,

    I’ve tried to reproduce this issue but I failed on the recent version of Wordfence, ignoring such cases is working just fine, check this screenshot.

    Are you sure there was no JS error reported back in the browser console when you clicked on “Ignore” link? I suggest trying to disable any caching plugin or a plugin that has minify JS option, then try ignoring this issue again and run a new scan.

    yes, that was the error in the screenshot you also had…
    But when I press Ignore, it still comes up in the next scan….

    Okay, I will try to see, if that is any caching problem and report back…

    For now I can probably live with always pressing Ignore it….
