my plugin doesn’t copy taxonomy terms, the setting you’ve seen is meant to enable/disable the cloning of taxonomy terms attached to the post you’re duplicating…
This means that if you clone a post which is in category X, with that setting you can decide whether the copy is still in category X or not.
I’m thinking about adding the feature of duplicating the taxonomy terms, but since the majority of users just use the name of the terms, and they must be different, I’m not sure about how much it would be useful…

Hi. I work on relatively big website (coupons and deals) and I work with high number of categories and taxonomies. For example I use some filtering shortcode which I insert into description field of every category. Some part of this shortcode is the same on every category and some part is different. So I need an ability to clone category or taxonomy term with it’s setting (shortcode and other content in description field of category).
