Dutch language

Hello,

I have a right dutch translation file. And added this to wp-content/plugin/languages folder en the files are properly called ultimate-member-nl_NL.po and ultimate-member-nl_NL.mo. Also the language of WordPress is in dutch under Settings>General. Also added define (‘WPLANG’, ‘nl_NL’); to wp-config.php

It also states: “Your site language is nl_NL. Good news! Ultimate Member is already available in Nederlands language. Download the translation files and start using the plugin in your language now. Hide this notice” Clicked on download but nothing happend.

So despite all attempts Ultimate Member does not change to Dutch language.

What to do? Please help…

My ultimate member version = 1.3.88

Import it to https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/locale/nl/default/wp-plugins/ultimate-member

I will review them and the complete Dutch community will benefit.

/wp-content/languages/plugins/

But remember when translation on translate.ww.wp.xz.cn hits 95% approved or above, it will be overwritten by the translation via WordPress updates.

I did too but without result. Any guess what I am doing wrong?

I used ultimate-member-nl_NL.po and .mo even tried ultimatemember-nl_NL.po and even
ultimate-member-nl-NL.po nothing works…

ultimate-member-nl_NL.mo should be present in wp-content/languages/plugins. Format: [slug]-[locale code].mo

Do you mean ultimate-member-nl_NL.po is right or wrong? its placed in the folder you mentioned. I placed nl_NL in the wp-config file.

Don’t need to change wp-config anymore. Language is set in Settings > General. Did you choose “Nederlands”?

Same problem here. Site language is set to Nederlands, the latest Dutch .po and .mo have been upped to the correct directory, but still English labels in the Ultimate Member modules. Does anybody have a solution? Next step is to just hardcode the labels in Dutch.

I have the same problem with Polish translation. Language files uploaded to the right directory, file names seems to be OK ultimate-member-pl_PL.mo but the translation doesn’t work. I also tried to use UM language update ‘Your site language is pl_PL. Good news! Ultimate Member is already available in Polski language. Download the translation files and start using the plugin in your language now.’ but it also doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

– Go to https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/ultimate-member/stable/nl/default
– export as MO
– rename to “ultimate-member-nl_NL.mo”
– upload to wp-content/languages/plugins

I checked the translation project, there are 5 warnings, and 1 missing translation. (I filled a few of them). Can someone check these and set Dutch as one of the languages? That would make it a lote easier instead of downloading .mo
