• On the blog page where I list articles, I have categories listed below each article.

    In “Appearance > Elements”, I have created a “Block – Loop Template” page in which I have the categories defined as a dynamic element: {{term_list link:term|tax:category|sep:, }}

    When I click a category link, it use the same layout, but only with the articles for that chosen category. That’s all great.

    However, the “Read Article” button which was clickable on the page before, now has the “href” tag stripped, making the button non-clickable. How can I fix this?

    I did remove all custom CSS as a test, it was not conflicting.

    Hi there,

    Are you using a query block for the loop template?

    Can I see the Read Article button on the page?

    Hi,

    The type in “Appearance > Elements” is a “Block – Content Template”.

    In the “Block – Template” I have set the button up like the attached screenshot: https://ibb.co/LzvbS9Gm

    Since the element is a GP premium feature, please open a support topic in GP’s premium forum.

    We cannot answer questions about premium features per WP’s regulation.

    And please link us to your site and point us to the button. You can use the private info field in GP premium support forum, it will only be seen by admin team.

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Unfortunately my GeneratePress Premium key has expired, so I cannot use that forum.

    I just figured out the issue though. I was in the wrong template in Blocks. I was in the Blog template where the button worked fine. My similar looking Category List template did not have a dynamic query loop on the button.
