    Hello!

After turning a static widget to a dynamic one it completely disappear from the sidebar and is removed from there traceless.

Tried to add the PHP Code Widget to the sidebar – worked well as a static one. After installing DW and turning the widget to a dynamic one (not to be shown on posts/articles) it worked one time – after refreshing the complete widget is gone…
Did it with other widgets too – with the same result: works one time; refresh; widget competely gone…

    What can I do?

    WP: 3.9.1.
    DW: 1.5.9.

Do you mean the widget is gone from the sidebar admin? Did you press ‘Save’?

Yes. It is completely gone… And yes, sure, pressed “save”… It works exactly 1x and after a reload it is gone.

Hmm… No, I don’t think that’s a result of Dynamic Widgets to be honest. DW does not have a feature coded to remove a widget from the admin area. Maybe it is ‘fighting’ with another plugin?

Tried to deactivate other plugins – but also after deactivating all other plugins the behaviour remains… Can the problem be caused by a theme? I don’t think so, but I am not sure too. I’m using “Vantage Premium”…

It won’t be logical, but as you say yourself… not 100% sure of course. WordPress might remove it when it detects a problem with it. Does it only happen with that PHP code widget?

it happens with all widgets I turn from static to dynamic…

I’m sorry, I really have no idea why that happens. Never seen such a thing. Again, DW does not have a feature capable of doing that. Looks like an incompatibility with something else. It might be the theme as you already suggested. I’ll have a look at it, but I don’t expect anything from it to be honest.
